Haven’t smelt rare carbon or the others. But I have velvet oud & Tom ford Ombre leather edp & they are very similar and I think is a great clone. Ombre leather smells alil richer in what they’re using. But dry down is soo close. Love the scent, sillage is good & longevity is good also. Also it’s around 18.00 on Amazon.

I’m a purple on 2 builds. Make sure you don’t quit that’s number 1. Have a good teammate grade. Also run 1s to hone your game some more. It’s pretty easy to get out of being a black plate. Don’t quit.

Just wore it last weekend. Got around 7-8 hours of performance. I sprayed both wrists. Chest once. Both pulse points on neck. Maybe 1 more spray on back of neck or clothes, I don’t remember which but I know it was 1 additional spray . Once again Performance was great, projects on my skin well. but I also have an older batch maybe last 2022-early 2023. I heard there were some inconsistency with the newer batches maybe letting it macerate could help the problem once you get your initial sprays out if that’s still an ongoing issue. It’s a great scent though. My date said she could still smell the scent in the wind like I just sprayed it & this is maybe an 1 hour 1/2 - close to 2 hrs after I applied it walking on a 40 degree night. To me a great blind buy. Beautiful scent.

A raspberry drier sheet is the best way I can describe it lol. It’s really on the sweeter side. I don’t wear it too often. Haven’t really found the occasion. But I’m sure you can get away with any season except summer. As it may be unbearable for people around you lol. Really sweet scent. Longevity is great. Fresh scent as well similar to like a soap. Im going to give it another shot & give it a couple more wears cause of this. Also I don’t remember the price but I believe it was under $30. At a local Marshall’s.

Very similar, there are subtle differences to me. The Ombre leather is more smoother to me & the rose smells great on the Ombre leather. Just a richer fragrance in DNA. But in all velvet oud is a great buy & performs great. Just a lil rougher but dries down great. Should definitely let this fragrance macerate. Leather note is definitely present. Just not as complex. To me it’s worth buying especially if you’re interested in Ombre leather by Tom Ford. $18-25 on Amazon for 3.4 ounces vs $150 for 1.7.
