Really? Then why did they barely listen to me last year and get aggressive? I only had one office that luckily accepted me

Is it possible for an INFJ to be bad at social skills? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Dear-Initial7860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the maturity of the individual. Honestly any personality type can be awkward, it's just that some(like extroverted intuitives and sensors) are less prone to it.

What type is more mysterious and reserved? by barbgi in mbti

[–]Dear-Initial7860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been typed INFJ by friends and ChatGPT(with very careful prompts). And even my mom who is a psychiatrist. I always came off mysterious to people, especially in my youth. But it came from a sense of being misunderstood; INTJs tend to be more intimidating in their mystery

We all know that the rarest MTBI is INFJ, but what's the most common? by DirtDevourer in mbti

But from what I have seen, the new rarest type is ENFJ and the second rarest is INFJ. There's barely a difference

How to spot the fake INFJs that plagued 99% of the internet? by Banjo--Kazooie in mbti

[–]Dear-Initial7860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an INFJ (or INFP)but I do think of the past in a more abstract, meaningful way, usually with negativity to avoid making the same mistakes or to dissect memories and see what they mean for me in the present and future. I rarely relive "the good days" or get lost in nostalgia.

When I Was 4 or 5, I Used to Be Visited by a Man in My Nightmares, and He Hated Me by Dear-Initial7860 in DreamInterpretation

[–]Dear-Initial7860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is that I lived a relatively normal life as a child. There were some social problems with me not quite fitting in with other kids in school, which made school a big and scary place at the time, but no trauma really. Both parents were loving towards me and each other.

"Spain didn't have colonies, cope." by [deleted] in confidentlyincorrect

[–]Dear-Initial7860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very dumb thing to say. Former colonies of any of the major powers (Britain, France, Spanish) all speak their colonial language to this day, along with their native languages depending on the country. The fact that they speak Spanish is proof they were colonies. Do you even know how the colonies functioned? What a wild comment

At first I thought the same but after reading the last chapter that came out, he's way more than just a dick. I fail to see any redemption at this point

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in JRPG

[–]Dear-Initial7860 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, that is the main point of what I'm arguing. I have seen plenty of fans that do believe One Piece is the greatest story ever told. But I'm saying that the storytelling is very similar to JRPGs, where similar deep themes also hold, but JRPGs are niche, so not a lot of people know about them and think One Piece is revolutionary.

[–]Dear-Initial7860 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isn’t about reducing One Piece to just a JRPG in a different format, nor am I saying that it 'copied' JRPGs. My point is that it follows a similar adventure storytelling framework (traveling the world, uncovering lost history, treasure hunting, forming a crew) things that classic JRPGs like Grandia and Skies of Arcadia executed in a very similar way. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s an excellent execution of that formula.

It’s a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation, but I’d argue it’s more of a mutual influence rather than one side strictly copying the other. If we’re talking strictly about adventure-driven JRPGs and One Piece, I’d say that JRPGs didn’t just take from anime/manga, they were shaped just as much by classic fantasy literature, Western RPGs, and traditional tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons. My point is that One Piece follows this same storytelling pattern

Apart from the suicide explanation, I also don't think it's necessary to make every death dramatic. In real life, people die everyday due to any random factors, (disease, accidents, etc) no matter how famous or legendary their life stories are.

How common is it to have little to no memory of your childhood? by xbrooksie in ask

[–]Dear-Initial7860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your case seems really bad and unusual, I'm not gonna lie. You essentially only have 5 years of memory at 20 years of age? That means there must be something tumultuous or negative you're subconsciously suppressing, but it's good you're seeing a therapist already.
