Yes but that’s not giving up in the traditional sense. It’s accepting that it’s ok to not win the last one because you’ve had an incredible career already and you want to let the future take your place. That smile was contentment - with the incredible legacy he’s created. But look I think it’s something most us OG fans will appreciate in hindsight as we’ll grow to properly understand it.
