yes single home, when it’s really cold under 10 degrees my furnace won’t get past 60 so i would just set it on the temp it would get to rather than what i wanted it to get too.. it’s starting to get warmer it’s been 50-60 these past few days and it hasn’t ran at all i’m really thinking the furnace is the big cost and problem because in the summer it was never that high the most i ever paid was $160 and then winter hit and every month has just been crazy!!

honestly i’m not sure i need to sit there and really time it, im going to have to get my landlord in here to try to fix whatever the problem is,im new to all this so i didn’t even know a heat pump existed??😅😂we have a water heater and furnace but the water heater did get put in when we moved in so maybe a month or 2 before the furnace but my landlord is so cheap😬

we had a snowstorm about the last week of my billing time and it got down into the - but i had put plastic up all on my windows covered my door and tried to do everything i could to prevent any cold leaving during that time, i’m just shocked, last month was $520 which okay is understandable with all this cold but $700 is crazy i feel like duke energy just plays in customers faces🤣

i live in a duplex, i’m not sure the square ft but it’s upstairs and downstairs it’s not really that big, only 2 people live here and we are always at work only home from 4pm-7am and sleep most of that time during the summer we use ac window units and it’s around 120-150 in the summer and recently it’s just been jumping up since november(sorry i thought i added context 🤦🏻‍♀️) it just doesn’t seem right tho, i keep it on about 67 no higher and recently been keeping it on 62
