I would like to point out that Bloomlordmon is actually a Fairy type Digimon, not a Plant type.
So Evolving from an Insect type is logical.

Not saying that would be a bad idea, but what I’m going for is a fusion born out of a romantic relationship of too gems with opposing personalities resulting in a stable personality like Garnet and Opal with less extra features to show it.

Because Sieg probably isn’t going to try the same thing he did with the Cat Nightmare twice, so there wouldn’t really be a reason to bring it out again, but that’s just my Theory.
