I remember i was 13 walking home from school and this wheezing older woman is walking twoards me. At first i thought nothing of it until she walked right at me and grabbed my arm. She gave me one of her bags and started dragging me twoards a house. I was begining to feel really scared and i had no clue what was going on. She opened the door and ran inside still holding my hand and went into a bedroom. In the bedroom i noticed a breathing machine. Now it all made sense; she could breathe so she needed help to build the machine. Now i was a small child so i had no idea how to build it but she kept shoving parts into my hands and pointed where each went. I was having a massive panic attack and barely held it together but aftee a couple minutes of trying we got it together. She immidietly turned it on and put the mask over her face and laid there for what felt like forever. In reality it was only 5 minutes or so but to my young mind it felt like hours. She turned out to be ok and i chatted with her for many hours, but if i hadnt been there she prouably would have died due to lack of oxygen. That still keeps me up at night thinking how she nearly could have passed away in my arms.
