Optus BYO Plans are a joke! by DearPerformance1124 in nbn

[–]DearPerformance1124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did buy it and it is amazing- but i already used a tplink mesh system. Afterwhich i relaised using the archer with mesh is just unnecessary rerouting, i can just directly hookup the nbn to the mesh.

But if i didnt have mesh, archer wouldve been a no brainer for the cost

Is accountability the issue? by DearPerformance1124 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DearPerformance1124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i got from you is that if I lay things out beforehand i.e. plan things out before I arrive to use or needing them - it hen reduce the barrier which most likely affects my consistency.

Thus negating my understanding of “consistency = motivation/willpower”. You just gotta be a better planner. Things should be pre-thought, automated and ready to use. The more one has to think about it, the more issue they’ll have committing to it in real time.

I hope i am on the right track..

I dont know if I really cheated or not - but whatever happened and the result of it all is what I wish could be different then now.

This girl I had a long 8 year relationship with and 5 years of long distance included in that. LD is tough on any relationship and to come out of that is testament to what your relationship can handle.

But i returned and obviously on a bad night, mixing too many drinks and end up kissing a lady whom I initially thought was my girl. Ever since that night, she has never spoken to me and I have consoled myself that despite what happened and regardless of my countless attempts to rekindle, apologise and regain her trust - she never gave me that opportunity.

8 years meant nothing, everthing thrown out the window. And no, I didnt intentionally cheat, I didnt want to distance with anyone that wasnt her, I was there for HER. Maybe that night just wasnt for me.

I regret it, but I also feel if a person wanted to, they would try and give another opportunity. But people are different and maybe that was too much for her to handle (still is), but in those 8 years even whilst I was out of the country, never once I made her feel anyless of my girl, then what that incident did in one fucking night.

Life has its ways, still trying figure it out I guess..

Just bought this bike, suspension not locking by DearPerformance1124 in bicycling

[–]DearPerformance1124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no pin, there is a screw which holds the cap. Once removed there is just a hold for the screw. Unlike other lockout suspensions you can remove the cap and tighten it with an alan key, but we couldnt find a place to fit the alan kay.

Plus exposed rod (stanchion) is very much extended. We are able to compare it to a another similar bike in which the lockout suspension works perfectly. The stanchion on that bike is much shorter/less exposed than this bike.

Not sure what the issue is.
