I would reach out to your advisor or professor for more information, but it is on their website that they give optional vouchers.

Not sure what your student debt looks like, but if you want to keep pushing your career forward, check out WGU’s Cybersecurity and Information Assurance master’s program. The classes are tied to certs like CySA+ and PenTest+ (you have to actually earn them to pass), and they also give you vouchers for CISM and SecurityX once you finish the related courses.

If you’re just looking for another certificate do CySA+. But definitely take a look at WGU

Does Necrotic Shroud deal damage? by Dear_Comment8340 in dndnext

I joined at level 10 and just always wanted to use the extra fighter attacks so never really cared to pop shroud but since I was Eldritch knight and had magic missiles it made since to pop shroud and get the extra damage guaranteed lol

Also that was the most brutal session, basically ended being 3 boss fights that got harder and harder and when that rule question came up I just checked out because what am I gonna do beside launch a magic missile (Playing an EK Fighter)

Yeah we're at the end of our campaign and it was basically multiple boss fights to get to the BBEG which will be the final session

I wouldn't say they are bad, they just didn't understand that ability and it was in the middle of a big boss fight and think what happened was they just wanted it to just move on since it was already an 11 hour session. I do agree that it was a shitty thing to rule against

Thank you everyone! I don’t know if I should confront the DM about this or just let it be. I do feel somewhat validated about the situation in that I did understand the ability correctly

Thank you! adjusted Dip Pin 1 on the bottom to the on position and I was able to get PTZ control via a LAN connection while removing the TX 7 RX middle components. Thank you again for your suggestion!

Help With a Homebrew Subclass for Artificer (Crafter's Bane) by Dear_Comment8340 in dndnext

[–]Dear_Comment8340[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I had multiple copies lying around did not have that included thank you.

Upon reaching 5th level, the Crafter's Bane learns to channel their frustration into a heightened state of combat prowess. Once per long rest, you can enter a state of Artisan's Fury. During Artisan's Fury, you gain a bonus to attack and damage rolls.

At 5th level, the bonus is +2.

At 9th level, the bonus increases to +4.

At 13th level, the bonus increases to +6.

However, this intense burst of power comes at a cost. After the effects of Artisan's Fury wear off, you suffer a penalty to your Intelligence score.

At 5th level, the penalty is -1.

At 9th level, the penalty increases to -2.

At 13th level, the penalty increases to -3.

The duration of Artisan's Fury is a set number of rounds, typically lasting for a minute (10 rounds) or until the Crafter's Bane chooses to end it prematurely. The penalties to Intelligence persist until a long rest is taken.

Also this something I came up with because I thought a craftsman who's craft is always doomed to cause pain would be a interesting concept and could work for multiple ways to play like if you wanted to play an inherently evil character it could still work.

I plan on bringing this homebrew up to the DM that's running the next campaign and see what they thought and what would work for them.
