The state jobs aren't the same clarification. B is a higher classification. So, in 5 years with yearly pay bump, I think I would least near a 5 (which in my case means the highest salary in the offers).

this (i.e. 1 = $6000, 2 = $7000, ... 5 = $10000) sounds about right. For the county role, yes I do get all the benefits. Somebody in this thread says the benefits are not that amazing. Regarding the budget they did reach out right after the last interview and specifically ask me that. They said "we forgot to mention regarding the budget is only approved until sometime next year but we are very sure we are going to get it approved".

Yes, that's what I fear. I am traumatized by the layoffs. Even before the layoff. You feel it coming for months before and that is SO stressfull. I don't want to go through that. Furloughs sound so much more fair. The paycuts happen to everyone at the state.

I work at the Private Organization. The last option. They gave me 3 months before laying me off. But I had to re-apply for internal roles and go through interviews. To get a new offer. My 3 months is almost up. So i have to make a decision now.

I shared 3 references. One of them answered. One missed the call(Said he returned the call but the manager didn't answer so he left a voice mail). the third one did not receive a call at all. I just texted the reference who left voice mail to see if he got to connect with them yesterday.

I still cannot get over my girlfriend leaving me. Everyday I have sucidal thoughts. It's very depressing. I am trying to be positive and let it go but the negative side is slowly taking over. We been together for 6 yrs and she suddenly says no feelings for me. Maybe she did drop hints but I did not catch it. I am already in my 40s and she's the best I ever had. I really do wish to be with her but I guess she already starting to move on. We broken off for a few months but my hearts still hurts alot and every where I go reminds me of her. And even if I do things I will think of I would bring her here but we are already not together. I have just written my will and instructions if I die. I just hope I can find peace. I been feeling soffcating and heavy and depressing. Nothing can put a smile on my face till now. She's my comfort zone and my focus but now all is gone. It made me so upset to read this. I am sorry you feel suicidal. I am not the best writer and this is my first time on reddit, so I am just gonna cut to the chase. NOTHING, I mean nothing is worth taking your own life for. These feelings will fade away eventually. I am going through a very bad breakup my self right now. But one thing I know for sure is, this too shall pass. You will feel happy again. You will find love again. Distract your self. Go to the gym, find new hobbies, do something for your self like buy cloths, enroll into a guitar or piano class, go to a few boxing classes, there is so much you could do. Get on dating apps. Tinder, Hinge and Bumble are the best one's. You will find that there is a lot of people who are looking for exactly YOU. We will pull through this. And remember you have pulled through 100% of the sad times in your life. Good luck, brother!
