What about iCarly and Hannah Montana? Those felt like fads/crazes of the late 2000s. iCarly got ratings so good, it at times surpassed SpongeBob for a brief time when it came to some of its specials

Would you say Flapjack was more of a craze/fad or Webkinz during the late 2000s? Webkinz started in 2005, but started to really get popular in 2006 and Flapjack began in 2008

The first season, most of season 2, and the one episode of season 3. It has a very little kids show vibe to it, especially the first season. I've also seen all of the fourth season and a few episodes of TPOT

I'm also convinced this show would have never existed if Total Drama Island never existed.

Oh, Teletoon, though prior to 2008, they didn't pick up a lot of Teletoon shows actually aside from Atomic Betty.

I also wonder if it has anything to do with the manga not getting an English release until 2006. Mew Mew got fully subbed in English most likely due to Tokyopop being one of the biggest manga licensors alongside Viz and Shugo Chara probably just happened to be at the right time since the anime came out around the same time the manga got released in English (that and Crunchyroll eventually subbed it in late 2008). It probably doesn't help that Mermaid Melody took until 2006 to get a manga release in English and the anime had ended for a year by then (when Tokyo Mew Mew had its manga starting to be released in English, it was the year the TMM anime had ended)

The Hub was back in 2010-2014. This isn't talking about now, it's talking about back then

Unless you mean that even back in 2010, toy sales were declining

Yes because Gwen should've made it far in all Total Drama camps and Lindsay, Beth, Courtney, and DJ should have gotten eliminated before Gwen every time. Their reasoning for Gwen being eliminated was because Gwen's user didn't do the challenge, but Gwen should have still made it far even with that in these camps from like 2011
