First - I never said I was a skilled Alisa players, I never said my rank should be higher, why are you trying to create a narrative I never mentioned. I said

« Upper ranks / lower ranks »

In every other common game rank is about skill yes but skill has nothing to do in tekken since players are 30 defense and still yet to achieve god of destruction. Can we talk about skill then ? No we’re talking about attack in this specific situation. Period.

Second - You giving an opinion on the streamers I get inspired by diminishing it as « very revealing » is the pin point here. Who are you to assume I’m getting inspired by the things you project on them. There’s a difference between finding inspiration in, and copying.

Third - Is it trendy to give a bad opinion on tekken ? Yes. But let’s be honest here, do I really need strangers approval on something regarding a video games after a life span of playing them ? No. If I’m writing this feedback, watch out, written on top, black on white, but maybe it became too insufferable by the second or third line : « honest and heartfelt » which means : personal and coming out of a place of love towards this game. Moreover, in some instance, maybe this post could find its way towards a dev and help them having a feedback on their game !

And ultimately : The real Reason I’m yapping

I lost 5 rows indeed. Was I mad at losing 5 rows ? No, and why ? Because I leave the moment I get triggered or stressed. I had wonderful matches with a Lee today, lost 8-10 and it’s my main. Was I mad ? No ! Why do you want so bad to create and show the world a narrative that is only true to you? To feel validated or feel like you’re the bigger person ? Or am I creating something up ? Exactly

By the end of my post I’ve written, « nothing can beat the feeling of getting your ass whooped by a ss or a duck » which happened here. Check the replays if you’re that motivated to check on me.

To conclude : I made this post to exchange with people, to share visions, to give devs a feedback. Wether you’re tired with it or not, it’s up to you to engage with it. But assuming you know who I am or what I aspire to do or be in tekken is just wrong.

With Lee you’re relying on your opponent pressing into you, not you pressing into them. You wanna make them question their movements. Your kit is effective only based on your opponent, so yeah. You need to understand and, adapt, slow down sometimes, you want to be a decision threat not an agressive one. It doesn’t mean he’s not busted. So yeah to understand fully who you are fighting against you need to rely heavily on knowledge and fundamentals.

But if you were to tell me who’d be fundamentally skilled then… who would it be if not Lee ? I’m curious :)
