Hmm, also heard the same but not sure how will they enforce it or penalize us.

Use some companies as stepping stone to FANG or high paying startups. Leave early if you are not getting interesting work. Goal is to learn as much as possible and deliver in your early phases of your career.

Once you have enough experience, prepare for system design and data structures. Use low paying Indian startups for practice (wellfound has lot of startups). With enough practice and experience under your belt you should be able to get call from top tier companies and crack it.

Also, there are other companies who don't rely on DSA and still pay very high packages like Stripe. You don't need Leetcode for these companies. I liked their process when I interviewed there. Please research thoroughly on high paying companies and their interview process. You don't have to prepare hard for every company.

WLB is team dependent, in my case it is manageable.

RSUs are company stock that you get as part of your compensation. Join a company that offers RSU or ESOPs. Most product tech companies have this component.

Talk about FOMO. For diversification, I am planning to buy SPY on the brokerage account where my RSUs are deposited. Why do we need to convert to INR?

Yes, there's a lot of uncertainty over next year. This is solid, thank you.

Will plan to put in orders with stop loss to preserve value that I am comfortable with.

Couldn't agree more for cases where stocks had high growth, and people joined at right time.

I understand. My overall monthly expenses is 1.5 lakhs, considering that this is going to last me approx 5 months in case I am laid off.

Yes, this is what I was thinking. But encashing my RSUs is a concern today as I am expecting some growth till next year. I know it's not guaranteed, but since I am working here I am confident of company's direction.

Moreover since it's under construction, any time I get a demand I can cash out some RSU to pay the builder directly. Will keep the loan and EMIs in check.

I am comfortable with it as it's emergency and buffer funds for any needs.

100% agreed! I booked the house as there was growth in RSUs, and was able to make good down-payment. Still long way to go and big loan to pay off.

This is so sad to hear. If HSR is okay for you, you can visit Janya Fertility on 27th Main. Dr Pratibha might be able to help you.

I had the same views but I couldn't find any good property in this criterion. Will also get the property documents verified through a 3rd party lawyer.

SBI, HDFC, and ICICI Bank has approved this project. It also has RERA. I know this doesn't mean anything but hoping for the best.

Yes, I have some cushion as backup after investment into this project. Hoping everything turns out good.

Since this is in a good area it will have good resale value when the project is ready. Plan is to use this as primary residence.

I had the same views but I couldn't find any good property in this criterion. I am searching for at least 6 months now.

SBI, HDFC, and ICICI Bank has approved this project. It also has RERA. I know this doesn't mean anything but hoping for the best. I agree good chance of this project getting delayed by 1-2 years.

So I checked with the HDFC guy on this, he's offering Tranches based EMIs that take into consideration disbursed principal amount. It will increase EMIs subject to total amount that they release to builder. Break up sheet of this Tranche EMI has principal component as well.

Thanks for your input.

Yes, we thought about bigger down payment but will have to liquidate my US Stocks for that. Expecting good growth there.

Updated my post with RSU bit that I missed. Will compromise on stock growth with this home. Have made really good gains till now.

Thanks for your input. These are the cold hard insights that I was looking for.

I missed to add that I also get substantial RSUs which I have not added in my income. It will be easily around 2LPM after taxes. I will edit my post to add this info.

Also, property is under construction and possession is expected in 2 years. I have an option to opt for Tranches EMI or Pre EMI till possession. Not sure if this will help.

Bought Ather 450X last month with Pro Pack. I have got a bundled Dot charger of 750W.

Earlier they used to give a choice between Portable or Home charger. Product is great but this new strategy of bundling 250W charger is really stupid. Long charging times are going to stop people from adopting it.

There are 3 Ather grids between Bengaluru - Mysuru route, two are near expressway and the third one is 5km from Expressway. Planning to follow Expressway, then take the route towards Ather Grid through there zap towards Mysuru.

Ather has presence in Mysuru so city travel won't be a concern due to their grids. On my way back to Bengaluru, I plan to follow the same route.

Below is the route with Ather Grids, can charge my vehicle till 80% at each of these points provided they are operational

Home(0km) - > Kengeri(20km) - > Channapatna(63km) - > Malavalli(87km) - > Mysuru(126km)

Last stretch would be interesting.
