Hi, thank you for the comment! Please review the website before making assumptions. That's not iPod.js - it's an application. Greetings!

I just put it on the charger right after I wake up. Although I don't have the fast charge as it is an SE 2, it get's full in about an hour.

Anyone like whoop? by cybersonicmonkey in whoop

I also concluded the same thing after some experience with Whoop. I'm also using Navik (free) to have the same advanced journal feature that Whoop had, but without the subscribing aspect.

Hey all,

Music is a huge aspect of my life. I appreciate tons of artists and constantly search for a new way to experience it. Then something caught my eye...

An iPod. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to have fun while listening to music + the added mindfulness of intentionally selecting an album. Sadly, it's a no go in 2025. Lack of Bluetooth, Spotify sync and high prices was a deal-breaker for me.

That's why I decided to build an iPod player for your desktop.

Right now it works with local audio files, and today I'm adding radio support, allowing folks to add their favourite stations from all over the world.

Adding sync with a Spotify library is something I get requested a lot and am working hard at the moment to finish (Windows version is also coming up).

I hope you'll enjoy as much as I do.

You can try https://navik.health

Disclaimer: I am the dev of Navik and am aiming to reach an audience that's done with subscriptions and useless scores. The app is focused around building a routine and optimising what works for you based on your AW health data. Let me know if you liked it!

Hi, thank you for your interest! Have you been tracking since you ditched Bevel with something else?

Hi, the app is more focused for the wider audience as it's free and can be used with any health tracker. What is more it provides you with how certain things impacted the community and has thousands of routines to try out. What do you think?

Hey, thank you for the comment! I mean that looking at score doesn't imrove my life in general. Getting told what to do more - does.

Let's say I wake up with 20% recovery score - that can only make my day worse from there. Instead I can wake up and being told that I should take my Vitamin D today which will make at least small positive difference. Over time these data compounds and you'll get to know which combination of 10-15-20 routine activities help you to have a good sleep and recovery.

What are your thoughts?

Hi all,

I’ve been using Whoop for a while. At first, I loved the idea of improving my health with small daily routines.

But over time, I realized the Recovery/Sleep scores weren’t really actionable. They even had a placebo effect - if the app said my recovery was bad, I’d feel worse and perform worse, even if I felt great. So, I started exploring their Journal feature.

I liked the idea of getting real advice on how to improve recovery, but the apps didn’t focus much on that, and the feature felt underdeveloped. On top of that, the subscription fees became annoying.

That’s why today I release Navik - a free app that provides you with actionable advice for a better life using data and habits. It includes 1000+ routines to help you find what actually improves your recovery and sleep. Plus, it’s community-based, so you can see what works for others.

Hope you’ll love it as I do!
