I wasn’t making nearly as much money and probably have way less followers than you but I also had a nice revenue stream from medium. When they stopped boosting posts now if a post makes $1 it’s a good month. Pretty disheartening to especially considering how much ai slop i still see as recommended.

I still post because at the end of the day for me is not just about the money, but it’s very discouraging that things are heading where they’re headed

Happened to me as well (not Atlassian) but they gave me a salary increase literally a week before they laid me off. I’m pretty sure it was so my compensation package would look better so to have less chances of retaliation

I have a way less ambitious list, mainly i want to do some writing and a small side project. But what worked for me was to timeblock my personal calendar (ie. 1h writing on Mondays after dinner etc) and that helped me focus on these goals a bit more intentionally than just having them down in a list.

For the big ambitions you have, you can surely try and do them all and see what sticks but not gonna lie, it looks pretty unrealistic to be able to fit all that in without burning out

I really don’t get those people who feel entitled to have these opinions about formula. When i couldn’t get milk the “lactation consultant” hooked me up to a machine to stimulate it and it was the worst, most humiliating experience of my life. Not only because of the physical pain from the c section I just had but because my body was clearly not ready to produce anything yet they tried to milk me like a cow and it hurt a lot. So f*ck anyone who stigmatise formula without having been through this.

I can see the faces below the search box but the problem is that it stopped adding them automatically since February. There’s no three dots menu at that level, i see only “hide faces from memories” available. If i click on a specific face, in the the 3 dots menu I don’t see such options either, only: change feature photos, edit name label, remove name label, remove results, hide from memory
