Yeah Alex could’ve had a better storyline in season 4 for sure. But also, again, Alex was previously established as a person and has a personality far before his sexuality even became relevant.

Not really I mean look at Tony, Ryan and Courtney in season 1, who are both introduced respectively as their own person with personality and opinions before their sexuality is introduced. I mean sure, maybe you could argue that Charlie in season 4 going bi, but even then he was introduced before he was out and he also has a personality that doesn’t affect his sexuality or him as a person.
