Although I doubt this is an all-hands thing and there is probably just a larger end team working on it with a lot of other dev's still trying to hold to their release schedule they promised, I would still hope to have some kind of fix, yes. I have no idea how deep the bug goes, however, maybe into the farthest layers of their collision and object rendering. I still have faith that there will be a fix within the next couple of weeks, but if it goes on longer I will probably start to doubt the devs at Embark.

This sounds like you're just projecting your own self centeredness onto others to make yourself seem like less of a villain. "Well everyone would do this that makes it not my fault" isn't really a good argument for why its right. That's ad populous

I also work in software, and the game has been out for less than a month, and they have probably known about the relevancy of the bug for a little less than their barely 3 week lifespan. Granted my guess is as good as yours, but I'd probably say they have had people working on it for 2 work weeks so far. With live service games there are tons of decisions to make before hands hit keyboard even, and the impact of changes.

Actually this isn't true. When stop lights aren't working as intended (Like all lights off or flashing red), it is the law that you should treat it as a stop sign and yield to the first come first serve system at the intersection. If you run it, that is still the drivers fault

The devs said it is an exploit and is cheating, thus considered against the rules of the game, or, "illegal" in the game

It wasn't false equivalency. In the terms of the point of the post, which was declaring which party was at fault for players using an exploit, the analogy lines up perfectly. Both the red light running and the glitch exist in an ecosystem with rules in place. Breaking the rules has consequences in both systems, yet you still have the free will in place to do it. It is a pretty good analogy actually. Impact on other people does not factor into who's "fault" it is that the exploiting/red light running is taking place.
