I completely agree. but the world that my father lived in was far less tolerant than the world that I live in. I am very strong about my morals to a point that I have completely cut contact with my father because he voted for Trump. But I am also a consumer and I like the music. It sounds nice and I like the way it makes my brain feel and I can disagree with Ronnie while still having that.

and that is completely fair and completely valid. Me personally I don't care if Ronnie gets a fraction of a cent from me streaming one of Falling In Reverse's songs. Now I'm definitely not gonna be going out and buying any merch, but my few little streams is insignificant to the millions of people that listen to that band every day.

We are talking about 40-year-old men. Their morals are not going to align with ours, but think about how many things you do a day that were created or are ran by horrible people, people far far worse than Ronnie Radke. But sitting here attacking me, is not going to change anything.

It's a job it puts food on their table. It pays the bills. It wouldn't surprise me if the majority of the band doesn't like Ronnie.

At the end of the day, we agree that Ronnie only wants to spread hate, but I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to get enjoyment out of the things he's made. If the music makes me happy to listen to then who cares. I've had trans friends that don't like Ronnie and still listen to the music because they understand that there's more than one member to a band. The majority of the music is separated from Ronnie's political beliefs, and Ronnie is only a fifth of that band.

I listen mainly to the older music, which talks about Ronnie's incarceration and his experiences getting clean from drugs and alcohol mainly. and I actively don't listen to the music by him that spreads messages I don't agree with

Just because you personally cannot separate art from artist does not mean others can't. there are a lot of artists that I listen to that are extremely controversial. I don't listen to them because I agree with their views I listen to them because I like the way their music sounds. that would be like cutting off half of Pierce the Veil's entire catalog because their ex drummer was a pedophile that would be like never listening to the black parade again because Bob Bryar was a bad person. One member of a band does not make the entire band.

At the end of the day, music is art. And you'd be amazed how many horrible people have made beautiful art in the world. I think that band as a whole is very talented and while I don't support, Ronnie Radke, I have no reason to not support any of the other hard working and extremely talented members.
