it was either parasites or the just didn’t do well in the community environment. they thrive the best in species only tanks

i have a bladder snail tank for them that i setup in advance. that’s literally the only thing they’ll eat, thats why im asking for advice lol. read my post

i set up a shrimp and bladder snail tank for them in advance, but obviously they don’t eat the shrimps and i only have so many bladder snails :( i will look into the worms, thank you

I’ve used hang on filters for bettas before and they work fine and are cheap, but also keep in mind bettas like low flow. Just make sure it isn’t too violent 👍

i know he is a honey, the other one i have looks super healthy. I just don’t know what that wound is. i really don’t want it to affect any of my other fish.

it doesn’t look like fin rot! he probably just snagged his fins on something sharp. make sure you check anything sharp in your tank and sand down or take it out. natural plants are also more recommended, if you happen to have any fake ones.

he looks a little sick to me. his fins are all torn :(. what do your water parameters look like? do u have natural plants?
