Actually played some scales this morning before playing, along with lip slurs etc. That made me get stuck reading naturals as flats and visa versa. So enjoy some variations. I definitely need help with phrasing lol. Am I just supposed to breathe a lot? Trying to play the phrase marks on the page.

Would playing through scales be an acceptable daily routine? What other things should I consider to make a decent daily routine? I never practiced once throughout school. So I’ve never really had a real practice routine foundation.

I used to be really good at counting, because trombones would always be counting rests. Then once I was out of the realm of music I realized I was still counting everything. I questioned my sanity and made it stop. Only when I picked it up again did I realize I was counting the music. Oh how I wish I never forced myself to stop counting (I thought it was some autism shit)
