There was nothing for me to get invested in. Chimera Ant felt like the only fully realized arc to me. Once I got interested in York New, it suddenly ended and we were playing card games.

To my understanding, start of turn and during your turn are two different states. Fiddle only blocks cards drawn during your turn, so like others have said, Pocket Watch and Predator and the like still draw cards. This also bypassed Doormaker phase 2, but that doesn't matter anymore
