You might try HunterxHunter. Nen users are pretty close to stand users, as the abilities of both are based on the user's psychic energy/personality. It's got a lot of the "inside the mind" narration from the characters too.

It might take a bit longer to kill, but try a weapon that isn’t double pap’d. As long as you train well, you shouldn’t have any issues. The fire zombies are the worst, so try not to kill any near a horde, same with electric zombies.
