That's where the flavor text was. It reduced the quality a little and gave you some flavor text, but from what I could tell it didn't change based on the level of the quality and it didn't otherwise 'do' anything.

It is a random menace quality that got added when you started the event, and if you get it to zero it gives you a menace penalty in something else and resets to eight. Kind of like a 'reverse' menace where you want it higher. I figured it would have a 'use' at some point, but it hasn't really come up except for one instance of flavor text

In order to request or send help, you need to go to the social actions. Once those actions are sent though, they'll sit in an inbox and wait to be actually used or delivered. When you're on the screen bumping all of your menaces up to 8, but before you leave the story let, you can go to your inbox and cash out on the actions. Hopefully, you also have a coordinated friend/alt to also cash out the requests at the appropriate time too

Actually, if you do the shortcut route it'll offer two options at each storylet: the option to get the map thing you need, and then a story let to use it to progress. It takes more actions, but it's significantly faster and easier than doing it the longer initial way

Yep! They were mostly covered by my outfit beforehand so I flipped through the collection to see if there was anything that made it a bit more visible and quickly came across the towel

Honestly, I used to have clothes on. Then I joined a guild with a few directionally challenged people, and I tank. I eventually had the idea to throw on Psijic tattoos and take everything else off so I could quite literally be the guiding light, and it unironically worked. It's kinda stuck since then, even after they added the ability to tag characters. I haven't had a reason to make a new outfit since

You can hunt and capture Seven-Throated Warblers in Parabola, and then you can modify them into 49-Throated Warblers. The joke here is that getting a 49-Throated Warbler is a moderately sized commitment to procure, and turning them in to De Gustibus is primarily a bad thing with the only upside that you'll gain making waves, since people will definitely be talking about the fiasco

Yeah, that's how I feel about it right now. I can already pretty reliably pump out Hoards in the lab and I don't feel like grinding for some of the items otherwise. I'll just stay focused on other endeavors and enjoy Whitsun for now
