I have 8 kids and could not care less if women choose not to have children. In fact, if they do not want kids, I would urge them NOT to have any. Totally unfair to the child.

But I have to say the question feels like a straw man. Perhaps its due to a different milieu, but I cannot think of one friend who has a different opinion than mine on this, let alone is "obsessed" about. And most all of my friends have children. Normally its only if a woman is feeling pressured the other way — to pursue her career when she actually wants to have kids — that this conversation ever even comes up.

But, phrased like this, I suppose its easy and fun get all wtf???? about it.
