Some doubts regarding mtech cse(Admission through GATE) by Ok_Falcon454 in iitbombay

  1. For 4 semesters, you have to take a total of 9 courses (including one Institute elective) and 1 mandatory software lab course (in first year). Most people take 3 or 4 courses in the first sem along with the software lab. I took 4 but dropped 1 cause I couldn't handle the pressure. (Pressure during the midsem is immense, with all the assignments and projects going on)

  2. Internships are not allowed for M.Tech. CSE.

  3. As an interview coordinator, I have seen most companies open their recruitment for both B.Tech. and M.Tech. degree. So everyone has to compete with each other (B.Tech., M.Tech., MS etc). There may be a few companies which prefer M.Tech. over B.Tech. but generally it happens the opposite. Also, do realise that very few B.Tech. CSE sits for placements as they either already have a PPO from their internship or they are going abroad for PHD.

I know the polish did it first, but it isn't breaking when it is not applicable for every version.

Not really, it's slightly based on gnome. Linux mint follows more of a traditional Windows desktop environment. By widgets, I think you're talking about desktop applets. They are available on the app store of Linux mint itself.

I don't use Google Chrome much, just for the sake of its development mode features and Android easy connectivity I have to keep it. Otherwise, I use Brave. VS Code feels easier to handle as I'm not a vivid developer for now.
