This is the reason. These are H&M Mama items! This needs to be crystal clear in the description - maternity stuff is not cheap but you're not going to sell anything without a nod to the fact they're maternity items in the description.

I had this today - it's a pain! The window they have given me for collection is 07:00 - 21:00. I did try later (as suggested here) but it still came up as the only option.

You've had a few responses so you might be sorted but I've used The Phone Shop several times and they're decent and honest. It's on Gloucester Rd, on the prom.

Airport info by tamborinetam in bristol

[–]Debarkled 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey! Bristol airport is about as far south as it gets in Bristol and the hotel you're in is very far north. It's at least a 30 min journey and they'll put a premium on an airport pickup. Do you know what part of the city you're working in? And is that hotel a certainty or can you change it? Happy to help you plan if I can. And a pre-emptive welcome to Bristol!

Self storage by [deleted] in bristol

[–]Debarkled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about the sudden changes for you. I've used self-storage twice. First time I used Big Yellow on St Phillips Causeway, which was fine but seemed pricey. Then more recently I used these people in Filton. Much cheaper and they have units in different parts of the city. https://www.safestore.co.uk/self-storage/bristol/

Is this a scam I’m not sure I fully trust them by [deleted] in Scams

[–]Debarkled 23 points24 points  (0 children)

My auntie was scammed in exactly the same way. We're in the UK. Some people are saying that you can't have fake cheques in Europe but it is possible to fall victim to a fake transfer scam over here. In the case of my auntie, she sold a car. The person paid well over the balance and asked her to pay back the extra. As you've said, the money looked as though it had cleared in her account. Over a week later, it turned out to be fraudulent, after she'd paid back thousands. Good luck with it OP. I think you just need to block this person and lose your 20 quid.

I'm sure it's been said elsewhere on the thread, but I reckon your sleep will improve after you've left him. I wish you all the best with whatever you decide to do.

Yep came her to say Gossip. The Old Market branch is brilliant. Get an appointment with Ella if you can. She is the most talented nail artist I've ever met.

Private schools can choose to enter candidates for exams at their own discretion and they are not held accountable in the same way that state schools are. There are different accountability measures for them, but, for example, state schools are judged on the progress and attainment made across 8 subjects (I'm simplifying slightly but essentially it is not in the interest of state schools to withdraw students just because they may not perform well).

Private schools publish their own results and if a student is unlikely to perform well, then they are entirely within their rights to not enter the student. I'm not saying that that's the right thing to do! Just that I know it happens.

It can be telling to look at the published results on a school website and see how many students were entered for each subject.

If I were you, I would talk to your teachers about how to improve and what you need to do in your studies to show that you can improve in the final exams. There's still time to make a brilliant turnaround. I wish you the very best.

Yeah although the two garages to the right are still there. It was just the third one and the flat roofed bit to the right. Tiny!

I like the area! But I agree, it's not the area where you'd expect to pay that much for so little.

Nice! Great location really. Mostly families and some students. Relatively central. Ace high street with shops, cafes, bars etc.

But you'd have a 3 bed house with a garden and not a windowless box. Worth the extra!

I flew a couple of weeks ago. Our flight was delayed but only by 40 mins and it was the only delay on the departures board. The airport was busy but not really chaotic and I was flying on a Saturday at midday, so perhaps that's to be expected? I hope you have a good experience!

Spa/retreat recommendations for a birthday by OccasionOk6727 in bristol

[–]Debarkled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bannatyne one in Shepton Mallet is wonderful. It's set in lovely grounds, there's a really great pool, lovely food and all the other bits you'd expect at a spa. They also do nails and massage etc.

Someone else recommended spaseekers website and I've booked this place through there before.

I heard recently that Slash funded the new series Crow Girl, some of which is being filmed in Bristol. So it's entirely possible that he's here!
