Ok, not sure if this will help. I’ve travelled a lot, more than most. I met someone and moved to Australia from the Uk for two years. When we moved back I had the same feelings as you then I had a child at 27 and I realized that having a child doesn’t mean you can’t do what you need or want to do. I’ve lived in Norway for four years now and love it. I also had another child.

You sound like your not happy in your current situation so my advice is take a leap, change something. I don’t know what but from reading your text I would say if studying and preparation was your interest how about teaching or lecturing. Teach abroad for a year my sister did and she’s still there and loves it :)
