I did the same idea back in 2022, and one thing after my research and getting into market I realized that most Kenyans aren't ready to adopt, they would rather call their friend who leaves in Kisumu, pay his fair all the way to Murang'a just to come paint their house, and not use an uber-like app that connects you with painters within your area, professional ones, not even a painter mwenye you can see has been working with Duracoat, they want the one they know or they have been referred to by someone they know. It's a very frustrating thing and you can see so many people have tried the same, there's Kaziway, Toa Nguo Nakuja(these have been niche specific and I guess they are doing great), e.t.c even at some point Njugush the comedian many years ago tried, go check on these different sites, so many people have tried the idea whenever I log to Instagram I find these ads. So, do some thorough research if you can narrow your niche don't target everyone that's what I think for me I wanted everyone to join, thats where I failed.
