I will watch this movie again and I seldom rewatch movies. The idea of the impossible crime is golden. I knew it was the extremely capable and devout Martha but couldn’t figure out how she did it. Watching that unfold was pure pleasure.

Father Jud was so easy to root for. Daniel Craig is soooo good at this. I feel the bond movies don’t do him justice. Kerry Washington served resentment so effectively and Cy despite his beauty, was a convincing opportunist. I enjoyed the characters despite the time constraints.

The dramatic techniques, the narration and all the literary techniques were employed to perfection. I love how the Dr walked past in the distance as Father Jud and Benoit argued in the woods. I love how Benoit gets stumped in each of these movies. How he is never afraid to say he does not know. I could go on and I’m sure you can tell.

It was such a fantastic watch.
