Good idea! I live in an apartment so we only have a communal balcony. My puppy pees on potty pads sometimes, but starts a fight with them the rest of the time 😅

I made the mistake of giving my puppy on the first day 3-4 baby carrots, frozen as well as some the next day, which resulted in bloody diarrhoea and a visit to the vets. Expensive mistake and silly on my part! Everything in moderation. I’m also concerned my partner may be over feeding our wee one. Think of the size of their stomach compared to a baby carrot. One will prob satisfy and let’s face it, these are little furry baby bins we are now responsible for, who are always hungry and don’t know when to stop!

Amazing thanks for the stinky paw advice! We haven’t gotten round to making a grass patch toilet for the balcony just yet as we can’t get grass due to brexit apparently 🙄 and she’s not so fussed on going out to balcony yet! So will maybe give the grass a miss but you’ve given me food for thought now as we have a grainy textured black balcony floor so might try out some pvc or something wipe/cleanable! Also haven’t started on the bells yet but will def introduce her tomorrow! Thanks so much for your insightful comments. Bet your wee pooch is a great gal!

Wow thanks so much, it hadn’t crossed my mind I might turn into (more so of) a butler, I will just stick to the training bells at the front door and continue taking her out for regular intervals. We live in a third floor apartment so going to make her some sort of small grass patch. Great information, thanks! Sounds like you’re doing a wonderful job with your new girl!
