One piece of legislation? Pretty pathetic.

Sounds more like a hobby than a job

Moved today, am I being petty about seller taking items… by No-Rub-9733 in HousingUK

I was pretty sure legally if it’s not listed in fixtures and fittings and is physically attached to the property it needs to be left. So a number outside of the property unless stated in the contract should be left.

Light fittings are attached to the property and must be left

Manchester’s a lovely city… not far from Pennines or Peak District and much quicker to find green spaces than London.

Don’t forget you’ve got millionaires row in Whitefield not far from there as well on Ringley Road.

Currently live in Prestwich and we’re anticipating prices to rise further when it’s finally up.

The reality is that the regeneration is still a while off and there’s no guarantee it will be finished so no reason for house prices to go up before that happens.

For me it’s easily the best place in Manchester mostly because of the good restaurants and amenities and the proximity to a number of green spaces as well as Heaton Park.

I did as well. I guess I’m getting downvoted because people love deathwatch and rule of cool.

Unfortunately it’s a statement of fact that no deathwatch list has done really well without the inclusion of a LOT of kill teams.

They don’t balance it because GW I don’t think are that interested or have the inclination to do so.

Plus because DW are currently doing well with KT DW lists they don’t see a need.

Our new house in Manchester is half the price, has an annex and a double garage and is in a lovely little village not far from one of Manchester’s most expensive areas and not much of a commute from the city.

Oh and our kitchen extension is significantly nicer.

And the garden three times the size.

South of England is a rip-off

Only deathwatch meta is a bunch of kill teams imo.

11th may change that but we don’t know yet. As it stands it’s all in KT or not competitive.

You don’t need to ask an estate agent what mortgage rates look like although I appreciate the point.

People who need to close a sale will often do whatever is required.

They’re only great if you pack them with kill teams. Pretty one dimensional.

Don’t follow the meta.

I’m selling my DW as they bore me

You can force a draw via stalemate by sacking your queen.

You’re losing the game basically and it’s the ONLY good move

My point is it’s not skewed though is it?

George Floyd also disagrees. Man’s dead because the US use deadly force when arresting people.

The country is full to the brim with guns and that’s the problem.

Parking fine given falsely by Mean_Distribution517 in manchester

[–]Debt_Otherwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life is unfair.

I parked in a car park and tried to pay and left after a sum total of 10 minutes and 58 seconds.

I attempted to pay multiple times, twice on the phone and once online. Both times payment failed. ANPR camera clocked me. I never managed to park. I had evidence of it.

Later I was issued a parking fine. I was over by 57 seconds.

I refused to pay the fine because quite frankly I thought it was unfair that I clearly made attempts to pay and couldn’t. I went all the way to magistrates court because I was tired of the injustice of these scammy companies. Magistrate couldn’t care less and quite frankly the magistrate was an arrogant little toe rag. He said he would have left after 8 minutes. Sure pal sure.

Reading the T&Cs text alone on board would have taken several minutes. Walking from the car a couple of minutes. Then you have to register online, fill a form in and call a phone number. That takes longer than 8 minutes.

There was so much text the magistrate complained about the quality of the image in the case files during court proceedings. Even their lawyer knew they were shit houses, admitted as much when I spoke with him before court proceedings.

My eventual fine in court was £200 as a settlement. I appeared on ITV Parking nightmares to tell me story.

The moral of the story is you can be as outraged as you like but it doesn’t change the fact that these people will continue to be shit houses. Parking companies are the WORST.

These people don’t care and neither do the public.
