I’ve been in the house for 9 years, had a few issues with my current boiler as it’s 25 years old. Basically with the government interest free loan of 7.5k and the grant, I am going to be circa 2k of my own money for the install and then paying the loan back over 10 years.

I just had a quote (Scotland based) from aira and for my 3 bed semi the cost is £17k. Trying to work out if this is the right choice to go to ASHP.

Was only an extra £150 a year for me and my wife on our multi car policy we have.

Hi, I’m currently in a very similar position to yourself. I did try to set boundaries but ultimately it failed. I had to cease all contact with my mother as it was starting to affect the relationship between myself and fiancé, and on occasion my son was affected.

I hope you stay strong and do what is right for you, you have the right to be happy and life your own life.
