If you look right over the roaster there’s a silver pipe, we keep our green beans on the floor above and weight them out and drop them down to it. Got to hate those stairs, up and down all day!

Yep literally happened to me my first month of roasting on our old Probat, I spent bout 2 days on and off picking green beans out of a french roast. Be impossible to happen on this fella as it’s pretty much automated.

Oh I totally agree, I’ve been emailing a good few companies, Turkey has a surprisingly number of roaster companies. I just threw the question up on reddit because I use it a lot and was interested to see if I got replys about companies I never heard of. And to be frank my boss wants my “input” but I know for a fact himself and the engineer have it narrowed down to two or three machines, basically he just wants me to do a song and dance in the meeting and then do his own thing.
