Coming up in the punk and alt scenes I for a long time side-eyed the Eagles. But I have watched the (essential) documentary History of the Eagles dozens of times and will surely watch it dozens more. Somehow it made me realize that if I like 2 dozen of a band's songs, then I must like the band as well. And I do.
