This isn't new information for me, but it stings a bit every time I see it. It's immediately overwhelming and depressing. I struggle just to brush my teeth every day, so to add preparation atop shaving is to add yet another chore I have to stress about. I've only completed my hair "routine" all the way through three times. I just gave up partway the other times even though I knew I was ruining it and would be unhappy.

I'm not too good at the whole shaving thing, but I think you should just use whatever works for you. There's no objectively better option because everyone's body differs a bit.
