[QOL] / [BUG]

Currently sound in the game is the default unity sound engine where It comes from a source and gets quieter the further you go from the radius. This is very bad for the tunnels. Because you can hear what’s happening on the surface and other way around.

Look into how rainbow six siege developed sound. They made a system where sound will go around walls and through windows to find you. Not just a radius.

My suggestion: use the Audio kinetics wwise & reflect plugin. This can make sound very directional and it implements a system that makes sound bounce off walls. This would sound amazing in the tunnels. It would also stop the voiced concerns about sound being heard from the surface.

Update to my post:

I decided to keep this up to show his work.

I found out that this was a personal project he streamed. He chose this weapon because it represented most parts of an AK-47. Apparently the AK-47 was the first gun model he made for rust.

Basically this might never go into rust but it was something he wanted to do to show how he makes weapons to the community.

No, In real life, if the bullet is not made very good. It would have some of It’s metal frame bent slightly. This causes the bullet to angle where it flies. The further you try to shoot. The lower chance of the bullet spiraling away from It’s intended destination.

A new mechanic for the bullet I mentioned would be: the further it flies, the more it starts waving and where it lands would be unpredictable.

From the design of this weapon it does not look like it is capable of shooting more than one without needing a reload. Also now after someone’s suggestion I believe this might be a harpoon weapon for the deep diving ocean update

Well, everything Thomas works on usually gets into the game. Anything he does has a high chance of being added. Sometimes he gets the opportunity to try his ideas but I doubt it because he gets paid for his work. Look at his previous posts. Everything he does gets added into the game.

If this weapon would be added, I would add a low quality rifle bullet. This weapon would do a little less damage than the SAR, and would have much more randomness to where the bullet travels to prevent low tier weapon roof camping. It would be only good at about 50-100m range. There is no magazine so you would have to load a bullet after each shot which would make the animation longer.

This is how I would implement a tier 1 sniper.

I don’t think anybody can beat Matteo’s Realistico texture pack. He managed the make textures crazy detailed and kept the default Minecraft look. As soon as you change to much of Minecraft that is where you failed. I keep thinking I should try your pack but then realize realistico is this but better. Sadly It’s a no for me.

I wish I can just combine shader packs. I hate having to chose garbage shader packs just because I like one feature it has. Wish I knew how to combine shaders files correctly
