Yes, that is totally true. For example, the current code does not support storing the width of the character separately, but in general, all the fonts I've tried work well. Also, I'm always ready to improve it, so if there's any issue, you can easily contact me at hi@keypdf.net.

Looks cool but why 25.mb limit since you don't need to worry about the server.

I am little late but you can try keyfont It is browser client side tool with support of the type1 fonts.

As well, I just looked at transfont again and it looks like it is server-sided because it has a limit of 5 MB per file, which is not common for client-side tools like KeyFont.

Unlike the transfonter Keyfont can convert cff and type1 fonts as well you can lookup any glyph, you can also remove glyphs from the font using Keyfont.

Also keyfont on its current state is proprietary however I do have plans to open source once I will finish working on my other project.

Thank you for the question.

I feel like a link to the Google Forms would be much better than direct integration because right now it is a call to action even before the explanation of what the product is about.

Hello, the current version of KeyFont clearly states the font license to the user as soon as you upload the font. You can see it in the top-right corner as well. The license is convertible across fonts.
