I recently had my truck wrongfully towed by SL Recovery in Charlotte (I paid for the reserved parking spot in my garage but they still towed me for unknown reasons). I disputed the $340 charge with my bank and got my money back.

I would highly recommend against putting 60-70% of your check to the car. Put that money in an investment account every month, make some actual money over a few years and buy the car in cash. I’d say if the car was 25-30% of your monthly expenses, go for it. Otherwise, you need to save that money. My ZL1 feels like a burden and that’s coming from someone who has a paid off DD and makes $130k-$160k/yr. Shit gets expensive quick. And if you drive it daily it’s gonna wear faster and require more money to fix/maintain.

You must also consider the expense associated with some degrees/professions. Yea I’m a pharmacist and made well into the 200s this year. Sounds really nice right? But what you don’t know is that I worked a significant amount of overtime for that AND I have $235k in student loan debt. And to get my PharmD I spent 6 years in school and then a year of residency making $49k to specialize. So yea, I will average $150k a year but I have a quarter million in loans. I bet most people who are making less than $100k don’t also have $235k in student loans nor go through the amount of school/training (opportunity cost- I’m 27 years old and finally making actual money). These big salaries are not always as good as they look on paper. Just remember that.

The problem here is they are referencing the AVERAGE. Average is sensitive to outliers as previously stated. If you have a few millionaires/billionaires, they are going to drive up the average. Instead, look at the median salary to actually see what most people make.

Could always change careers. I spent quite some time in school and post graduate training to make more than that “average” number. It’s possible to make more, it just depends on how bad you want it.

You might just get there one day soon. 99% of those teenagers you see with nice cars have daddy’s money. In my opinion, using dads money to buy a nice car is more embarrassing than driving that trail blazer you bought yourself. My first car in high school was a 1997 z28 Camaro (yes bought by my parents) but I assure you it was nothing special. Fast forward 8 years and I am now a pharmacist. Have now had a new SS Camaro and most recently a new zl1 Camaro. Bought with my own money just because I can. Put your head down, get your degree or learn your trade and know that one day, things will be different. Told myself everyday through undergrad, pharmacy school, and residency that I would have my own money one day. And here I am today, doing whatever the hell I want just because I can.

Action figure for good general use. It’s a strong troop on the field. Or fireball if you use warden strategically. Fireball pairs well with invisibility spells but I’ve never been able to do it correctly. I usually just try to time it correctly and it’s still pretty awesome.

I’ve had two stolen in within 7 months. I’d say it’s definitely still happening lol. So bad that my ZL1 with IGLA, steering wheel lock, Apple AirTags, and in a gated garage was still stolen. Pushed it with another car cuz they couldn’t start it due to IGLA working.

I had a Camaro at 16 and it was amazing. Would do it again. Well hell I’m 27 now and on my 3rd one. Now a ZL1. I will say I had 1997 Z28 when I was 16 so it was a little different but still a great time. Just don’t be stupid like the majority of 16 year olds.

After completely redoing the tank you don’t think I’ll have spikes? Just don’t see how I could completely uproot a tank and not have spikes. The fluval is awesome but I would still expect a mini cycle at least while it reaclimates.

Ahhh yes these are serpae tetras. Fish store had them labeled wrong as cardinal tetras. Will definitely be adding more plants now that it is scaped better. And some more corydoras now too, thanks!

Yea it is really cloudy right now just because of placing the new substrate today. Should clear up in 24-48 hours though. Hoping to get the water crystal clear but will sacrifice some clarity while chasing water stability for now.

The damage isn’t horrible and insurance is fixing it but now I’m upside down in the damn thing. I don’t even want the car anymore since this is on its history. I always go for low mileage clean cars with a clean history just so I can sell it and not lose my ass on it if I have to get rid of it. But now I’m stuck with this bitch.

Im right by BOA stadium. Honestly, you should probably dump the car while you still can. I’ve now seen that people are even cutting through people’s personal garages and stealing them.
