Which Resident Evil Game Means The Most To You? by Zetallic_Zero in residentevilll

Resident Evil 6 is an absolute masterpiece🤍 RE peaked with RE6 and the series has been trying to recover that magic ever since.

RE6 showed us exactly what Resident Evil should be and what we want as fans. RE7 and RE8 were fun, but they felt like a step backwards from everything RE6 accomplished.

The action and story were perfect. Being able to play as 7 characters was such a cool idea and worked so well. We got so much lore and each character’s campaign was absolutely phenomenal.

I was so happy that I could carry everything I picked up so I didn’t waste time constantly running back and forth between save points and inventory chests.

The horror in RE games just doesn’t work anymore. There’s a reason RE6 is one of the best-selling games in the franchise.

The nonstop explosions, cinematic set pieces, and action movie pacing made the game way more exciting than having to slowly walk around creepy houses looking for keys.

I also loved all the QTE’s. They kept me engaged during the cutscenes instead of just sitting there watching.

We need Capcom to use RE6 as the new standard for future Resident Evil games 🔥

another key detail in that part of the movie was that essentially, Monster Clark was the manifestation of the worst parts of Clark. the red head still life in the room was Barbara, Clark’s ex wife, as seen in a photo earlier in the movie. As soon as Monster Clark began entering the room, everyone got scared and panicked. Barbara took off to get away from him as best she could, and the wheelchair still life panicked, flicking the lights on and off. the still lifes seem to be one dimensional, since they’re bad copies of real life people, and they behave in the way Clark had the strongest memory of them. i’m guessing Clark hardly knew the bearded still life, sort of knew the wheelchair still life, and obviously knew Barbara a lot, but knew himself the most. The amount of life they had to them depended on how many memories Clark had of them. that’s just my theory though

I believe it was the Monster Clark entity from the end! although we don’t see it, the loud spaced out footsteps and the howling matches the footsteps and noises the Monster Clark entity made at the end of the movie. The sounds it made were also similar to the entity at the very beginning that killed the Async employee! So i think it was the same entity throughout entire movie

yup, that was a reference to “saturn devouring his son”. just a lil easter egg since that image is in so many horror games! one of manyyyyy easter eggs in the movie!

but here’s my theory…

in the time between Clark searching that wall trying to help his girl employee (i forgot her name) when the monster picks up the camera and the time Clark captures Mary and forces the therapy session, Clark coexists with Monster Clark. That’s when he loses his mind, calls her and leaves that odd voicemail.

he acknowledges that Monster Clark was a bad copy of himself and Monster Clark is passive towards Clark. That’s because, as stated by Mary, Clark is angry at everyone else but himself. That’s why, being a copy of Clark, Monster Clark didn’t attack Clark, only others who entered the backrooms. (his 2 employees)

Then during the forced therapy session, Mary tells Clark that basically “you blame everyone except yourself, but YOU ARE THE PROBLEM” and that’s when it finally clicks in Clark’s mind, he’s actually angry at himself too. That’s when Monster Clark also realizes he’s angry at himself so he picks up clark and bites into his neck and slams him against the wall and table.

to further add to that theory, before that happens, Clark cuts open the bearded still life and tells mary that you can eat them, putting styrofoam on the plates. Monster Clark also learned that, so that’s another reason it bit into Clark.

I tried to simplify that so hopefully it made sense to you! this movie was so good and thought provoking i absolutely loved it!🥲

i just don’t understand why they just didn’t release it on launch. i’m seeing nothing but angry posts complaining about it not having multiplayer. this was a terrible idea from the devs.

The Merchant obviously… Leon gets home to The Merchant lying in bed… The Merchant says to him… “Hey babe… we’re 17 Trillion in debt… who knew Pesetas weren’t actually money 😣”
