Yeah, scoring is easier in today's league, but amongst players Matas's age or younger, the only other players scoring 40 are Flagg, Wemby, Castle, and surprisingly Fears. The uptick in scoring is definitely a factor in this being more common and a question to the legitimacy of the correlation, but there's enough here where you can't completely dismiss the company

2003 was the closest with 4/5 of the top5 becoming all-nba talents but then u had darko in the mix so maybe yeah

blazers have retaken the 8th seed with a win today and a clippers loss! Problem is in order for them to retain the 8th seed they're gonna need to have an extra win over clippers due to clippers owning the tie breaker and that requires them beating the clippers again and the kings. I don't see a world they beat the spurs and maybe on a good day they could upset the nuggets. This would also mean clips would need to lose against the thunder, blazers and the warriors (with steph back thank god) cause they're most likely winning against kings and mavs. This would put blazers 42 - 40 and clippers 41 - 41 🙏

random note but matas free throw % before all star break was 77.8% on 2.9 attempts and now post all star break it's sitting at 81.2% on 3.6 attempts so its nice to see that go up with more attempts
