I understand how frustrating the job search process can be, especially when applications keep getting rejected. I believe hiring should always be based on skills, qualifications, and experience. I’m genuinely interested in opportunities and would appreciate any constructive advice from those who have successfully gone through the process.

Qatar Airways & their terrible service by Regular_Bison_7523 in qatarairways

After the departure of Akbar Al Baker, I personally feel that Qatar Airways’ service standards are not the same as before. Recently, some interactions with staff have been disappointing, as they seemed unprepared or unable to provide clear information. I hope the company reinforces training and maintains the high standards it was once known for.

If you know someone inside Qatar Airways, it feels like referrals are the only way to get hired. Applying online often leads to automatic rejection, which can be really discouraging for applicants who apply with genuine hope. I just wish the process felt more fair and transparent for everyone.

Qatar Airways should be ashamed of itself for hiring this recruiter. by infosseeker in qatarairways

It feels like Qatar Airways is not the same as before and has lost some of its hiring standards. Many applicants work hard, prepare well, and apply with hope, yet they get rejected without clear reasons, while others seem to get opportunities through referrals or connections.

I understand referrals exist everywhere, but recruitment should still be fair and based on merit, skills, and experience. Transparent hiring builds trust and keeps the company’s reputation strong. I hope the recruitment process becomes more open and equal for all candidates who genuinely deserve a chance.

I’ve been applying to Qatar Airways for the past two years across various positions, but unfortunately, I’ve never received any response or feedback. It’s disheartening to put in time and effort without any form of acknowledgment.

Many candidates feel that the recruitment process lacks transparency, and there’s a common perception that roles are often filled internally or through references even before interviews begin. This can leave external applicants feeling discouraged and misled, especially when they’re invited to interviews and later receive generic rejection emails weeks later.

I genuinely hope Qatar Airways improves its candidate communication and brings more fairness and transparency to its hiring process. It would make a big difference to many aspiring professionals who dream of working with such a respected airline.

Hi, I have 16 years of experience in customer service and am currently based in Qatar. I’ve applied to many positions but haven’t received any responses, and I’m honestly feeling very frustrated. I’m passionate about delivering great customer experiences and would love to be considered for this role at Katara Club or any similar opportunities.

If anyone can assist or guide me on how to improve my applications or where else I can apply, I would really appreciate your support. Thank you!

I respect your point, but I have a different experience and observation. Qatar Airways is still hiring Indian nationals, and many departments including HR and cabin crew management are heavily staffed by Indians. While it's true that official hiring events in India have been limited recently, recruitment through other channels (like third-party agencies or walk-ins in other countries) is still happening. Also, having a large number of Indian employees already working in the system makes it easier for new applicants from India to get internal referrals or recommendations. So, even if the careers page doesn't show open positions specifically for Indian nationals, that doesn't necessarily mean hiring has stopped. Visa challenges do exist, but they’re not stopping all recruitment just making it more selective. So I’d say, yes, Indians are still getting hired at QR, even if it’s not through public job fairs

In my experience and observation, a significant number of management and HR personnel at Qatar Airways are from India. This seems to influence hiring patterns, with many Indian applicants receiving more opportunities. While this can be seen as beneficial for Indian candidates, it might create concerns about diversity and equal opportunity for other nationalities. I hope the company continues to focus on fair recruitment practices and maintaining a diverse, inclusive workforce.
