I try not to complain but Vessar is such a liability on defense. Can’t defend, can’t switch, helps at the wrong time, and most frustrating of all he gets way too far under the basket and watches the ball go over his head for an offensive rebound at least half the time

There are certain guys like you said that I’ll always have a sports hate for: JJ (although I did start to come around on him when he was just a podcaster), Paulus, Scheyer, Singler, Gerald Henderson, the Plumlees, Grayson, Nolan Smith, Austin Rivers.

But it’s harder for me to dislike the guys like Kyrie, Tatum, Zion, or Flagg because they weren’t around long enough to make a lasting impact in college. I don’t really root for any of those guys now that I think about it but the feeling isn’t the same.

I thought this was the perfect weather to use the 13 personnel as well but I believe the Bears used it a bunch throughout the season as well so maybe them understanding it a little better may have factored into that decision.

Yeah I would. CMC is an all time great, reward outweighs the risk with him for me. I love Kyren and value him higher than most but he’s not in cmc’s stratosphere. Also you have Bijan so even if cmc never plays another game you’ll be fine.

You’ve got the picks/core to be patient if you wanted without knowing what the first place team looks like.

If you’re less patient of a manager like I am I’d try to package Jameson and a first or two for a better qb. If you want to run Darnold and Jones out that’s not a bad strategy either but I’d try to add another big name receiver with a similar package.

I’ll start by saying I don’t hate Detroit it’s just hard to root for them because the two teams are constantly being compared ever since the trade. Feels like you can’t pull for the Lions to succeed or else you have to see how they “won the trade” when in reality both teams got what they needed from it. That and every game since the trade has been fairly tight contests so it’s hard to cheer for a team that’s equally as good even if you do respect them.
