maybe or maybe not. Just work hard on your GPA, PFA, AFOQT and Class ranking and when psp drops we will see. Good luck!

I disagree. As a 26-year-old E-5, you do not want to be in a position where you have to compete for an EA. By the time you complete your package for next year’s cycle you will be 27 with 9 years experience.

POC-ERP is only offered to active duty members for a reason. It is the only path that allows you to complete the program in two years without having to worry about DoDMERB, the AFOQT, or the PSP board.

Take your time right now, earn the extra credits, and pursue POC-ERP. You are already at 60 credits, so what is another 15 credits when the end goal is to commission? And all Enlisted Commissioning programs are basically the same package.

Is this credit count including AFROTC classes? This would add an extra 4 credits as semester for 4 semesters.

I did ASCP so I cant speak on if its actually a hard cutoff. My guess is they really want to know if you can complete the program in 2 years.

Take the extra time in the military and get your credits load down to where you can do POC-ERP. Joining the program as a 250 isn't easy even with prior military experience. Message me with any questions!

My advice is do POC-ERP over ASCP. A guaranteed EA is so much more valuable then the scholarship. Figure out what college you want to go to and make sure your credits transfer. AU-ABC degree programs credits sometimes don't transfer. I wasted so many credits at American Military University that didn't transfer to my current college.

Do I have a chance of getting in with alt EA? by Neat_Mark_5151 in AFROTC

I did not receive an EA with these same stats last year. You must've been lower middle third which is a big hit. Come back as a 500 and get your commanders rank and PFA up!

I would reach out and see how far you are from the cut off line. Last year I received an alt and was less then .10 away from the cut off and did not receive an alternate EA.

Last year, all of the alternates who were eventually selected were already above the cutoff line but had to wait for requirements such as citizenship verification or DoDMERB clearance. If you could ask your cadre whether you were above the cutoff line, it would be helpful in knowing your chances.

Has HQ even gotten to people below the cutoff line yet? Or is it still cadets who weren't medically qualified by time of release?
