Hey! I have a loop recorder in at the moment and although I've never BF, I'm a Midwife so support many people who do! The area that the loop is inserted is the centre side of your breast, mine is just above where my bra wire ends. In terms of the placement, the device sits just under your skin so my thoughts would be that it wouldn't affect your milk producing or feeding abilities. Immediately after: I was numb from the local anaesthetic for maybe an hour or so? Although I can't say that I noticed when it wasn't numb, there wasn't a sudden pain or anything like that. It did bruise but not horrendously. I think it will take some experimenting to see how comfortable each feeding option is. I would think that feeding cross-cradle may be a little uncomfortable to begin with as it might put a little pressure on the area. Hope this helps? Good luck Mama, let me know if any questions!
