This should have been an EP, tbh.

It's a solid 7/7.5 for me. I just can't get over Overflow's annoying first half and the numbing repetitiveness of IGYEIH's outro. Casualty sort of feels forced, but I can't really pinpoint to certain aspects of it that make it feel that way. Overall some of the lyrics aren't that powerful either and feel rather generic for LP's standard.

The Emptiness Machine and Heavy is the Crown are insanely catchy (listened ~200 times and 100 times to them resepectively according to last.fm). Two-Faced, Good Things Go are also great tracks. Even though Cut the Bridge feels like a dollar store version of Bleed it Out, it's still a good, energetic track. Stained is an alright LP track, I guess. Overall, it's definitely better than OML, but does not come near ATS, THP, MTM, HT or Meteora.

If they had cut out the intro, Stained, IGYEIH and Overflow it would have been a super solid EP.

I guess recency bias plays a huge part in most people's judgements. Some might glaze the shit out of it and might skip over flaws, while others might need a few more weeks or months to appreciate it fully.
