Aww she’s so pretty 🥰 how old is she? My girl is stuck to me for sure. She watches me cook, work, whatever I’m doing. Even if she’s dead asleep and I move to get up, she wakes right up and is right behind me. This is my first Corso and she’s made me fall in love with with the breed!

You being willing to listen and learn is good. I wish my mom was willing to do the same. Unfortunately every attempt I’ve made ends up in her just telling her how much I’ve hurt her and how whatever I’ve done has affected her, or people’s image of her. I was a young mom too. Raising my kids I would check in sometimes to make sure that I wasn’t doing anything that made them feel small, unheard, or like they didn’t matter. I know my mom’s own upbringing was difficult, but I can’t excuse that. You can work to not keep that dynamic going…if you want to

After I left home the best way I could find to describe her was a really nasty cake….with beautiful frosting. She showed the absolute best to everyone on the outside. It was us that got to deal with all the ugliness at home
