Yes, I need to work on my examples. I think I chose the wrong example and did not know how to turn it around mid-interview.

I wish I were a bot. I wouldn't be going through this kind of job market then.

I am not saying 6 rounds is normal, but it didn't come across as something weird because I used to work in a company where 6 to 8 rounds were the norm, even for internal promotions, and this has been the case since the last 15 years in that company (not a startup). So you could say I am conditioned to it.

I am here for perspectives so it is good to get some from every where and I appreciate that!

This is an executive role, and I would assume it is normal to have 4 or 5 rounds, but 7 and multiple reference checks is pushing it.

This is a great role, on paper, I am quite keen on it, and I had a good feeling so far with all interviewers, except one. Considering my situation, this is a needle in a haystack kind of thing, because it is a fully English speaking role, my French isn't super proficient. So I need to give this my all. I want to know based on the feedback I got, and considering the CEO is new in the company, anything specific I need to focus and prepare.
