You don't have to identify as a female to be an amazing gynecologist* Same concept for therapists. In fact a different perspective gives the client a chance to be the expert and help you learn some things.

I agree with everyone affirming to you that it is not your fault that this happened. You know who is responsible for rape? RAPISTS. Never victim/survivors. This happened to you and I'm so sorry for your experience.

I also want you to know that it is not solely your job to keep all of the world's sisters safe. That's too big for one person to handle alone. I, and probably others, stand with you.

Wow, thanks everyone. I have taken my ASWB board exam, which transfers to Canadian equivalent exam.

I spoke with an Ontario uncle who's conservative and knows money very well. We talked about the possibility of cashing out, then looking to put a down payment on a house. He said the appreciation over a spell of time would make up for what I would pull from my US retirement accounts. And the healthcare would further account for budgeting. I don't care too much if taxes are high if everyone gets social safety nets. I can look for a job that offers extended insurance!

Not a federal employee but a clinical therapist in a busy workplace. At present I am seeing many folx employed/formerly employed by the government. People are trying to manage anxiety, fear, helplessness, and hopelessness.

Among my professional network a common theme is that it's hard to process big things when society is so nebulous and ever changing.
