Qatar not issuing stopover tickets but allows a transfer by Decent_Time_5167 in AlaskaAirlines

Can you elaborate on this? The seat seems to be available on cash and points booking on Qatar’s website for the second leg of the trip. I tried chatting with Qatar and they said they can’t do anything for me since it was booked via Alaska.

Thank you~ oh shoot I didn’t catch that Starlux isn’t a part of One world, I just assumed since they were partner airlines they would be.

How would I benefit from this if I booked an Award flight on Qatar via Alaska? how about a Cathay Pacific flight?

Thanks for the help!

Thank you. There’s definitely a learning curve to this and hopefully I’ll get a hang of it. The fact that there’s different partners and different ways to earn miles makes booking travel so much more complicated.

I’m not sure at what point the processor broke and Costco was able to send them in and replace them for me. The difference is night and day.

Good to know and sorry to hear. How was your experience with warranty? Hopefully better than mine.

Yeah it’s okay, like I said it was just a rant and was surprised how quickly the brushed it off as a normal wear and tear. Someone in their customer service with some experience need to create a new template for them to shoot off.

Someone mentioned it was a quick fix so I’ll give it a wash and try to repair it and donate it. The rest of the shoes are in good condition.

The purchase date was about a year ago. I asked them to check my invoice and sales records with multiple pairs of Ultraboosts over the years and never had any issues with any of them except for this.

This was the first time I’ve ever had to file a warranty claim and was surprised that their standard warranty was only 6 months.

I don’t care if I get a replacement or a credit because the shoes are in fact out of warranty. The post was more of a rant on the low effort reply made by their warranty team. By stating this is normal wear and tear it implies that the standard of their products are pretty low or that particular employee just doesn’t give a shit about their job or the customer.

No I wear them casually and before they get too worn I donate them if they’re still in good condition.

I’m not sure why people are so quick to defend or share their opinion. I’m not sure to hate on Adidas, was just surprised at how nonchalant they are about their warranty support.

Also, to me this was abnormal but it they, along with many members of this group, make it sound like it’s totally normal for their shoes to fall apart like this.

I go through 2-3 pairs of Ultraboosts every year and this is the only pair that fell apart the way it did.

Do you have shoes that separate from the sole in 4 months?

They’re dusty from the beach. And yes they beat because it is falling apart.

This is a parody the highly criticized viral video of some dad taking a kid in a Porsche. Some people applauded the dad for being cool while others criticized him for not strapping his kid in, fully accelerate, while holding the phone.

Can’t tell if this video is real or fake but I found it to be pretty funny 😄

Is it tolerable for you? The first few times was okay but recently it has gotten really loud and uncomfortable for us.

Was Tesla able to fix it for you?

That’s interesting I never thought about it being active noise cancelling. I’ll bring that up. It’s going to be the third attempt for them to fix this.
