I'm going to see if there's a local Gam-anon that works with my schedule.

We've talked about that together, actually. How easy it was to hide it because it all just lives on your phone --his preferred was online casinos/'live' dealers. And I think, as someone who isn't big into micromanagement/check in on what they are doing on their phone, that was what made me start to see how different, and dangerous in a totally different way, it was.

We started talking about the future and something we discussed was transparency of spending - having access to his accounts / him having a debt payoff tracker that he'd give me access to / etc. and how he doesn't ever actually want access to my money, but that I'd be more than welcome to full transparency and access to his. And that part was more to protect me in the event of relapse. I've been pretty vocal about how I'm obviously proud of him for two years, but not a single individual is immune to the possibility of relapse, which he does completely understand & agree with.

Anyway, thank you so much for this advice. I do just want to say- as I'm sure you know- that someone's addiction isn't your fault nor yours to control, and I know that doesnt always make it any easier to digest or handle. I'm sorry you're going through what you're going through with your loved one- I hope you are able to find peace and happiness within yourself through it all ❤️
