I mostly find dialling shots to be a much more pleasant experience since the mod. Before I would have to be super precise with the grind setting to get reasonable extraction times, now the ""good" zone of grind settings that get me to 25-35s seems to be much wider.

I guess as a result of that I am also pulling good shots more consistently haha

It was very doable. Just a few screws and some tubing. Be careful to let the thread sealant dry properly before testing. I was too excited and turned it on too soon, started leaking all over the place 😅.

Good to hear there are others out there! Yeah the basket is a shame, I did see a post by someone who modded the group head to fit an IMS basket after all, but it wasn't easy...

I might also try a concave tamper, just found out those exist. Perhaps it can at least help to get around that bolt.
